INDOOR Display

An Enhanced Ventilation and Air Quality Monitor for schools and offices

Application

INDOOR® Display by XCSpec is an innovative platform designed to support the CalSHAPE requirements for re-opening of classrooms and offices. ®Display continuously monitors CO2 levels in any room and presents this air quality information across the room with indicators or via a mobile app.

The ® Display includes Title 24 compliant controls for Demand Control Ventilation (DCV). Either wire to an economizer or directly to a motorized outside air input

Damper to control outside intake based on CO2 ppm. Applies a Rate of Change (ROC) control algorithm to limit actuator hunting and extend actuator motor life. When commissioned with a AQ OutdoorTM or MicroMetl® Powered Exhaust, the Indoor continuously measures for positive space pressure – between 0.01-0.05” of water. While positively pressurized, this information displays as a solid blue indicator.

TECHNICAL DATA

Supply Voltage: 19 – 28.8vdc or 24 Vac +/- 30%
Current Consumption: approx 30 mA @24 V dc
Wire Entry: wire openings at the backside
Voltage Output: Roland Mendel
Measuring Medium: Air or non-aggressive gases
Measuring Principal: NDIR sensor Technology
Measuring Values: CO2
Measuring Range: 0-5000 Parts Per Million (ppm)
Measuring Accurancy: +/- 30 ppm
Temperature Stability: T = 0…..50o C +/- 2.5 ppm/oC
CO2 Calibration: Maintenance Free if Automatic Self Calibrating units (ASC) is enabled. Self-Calibration requires unoccupied durations that allows CO2 levels to drop to a level similar to outside air or 400 parts per million for one hour each day over a 7-day period.

If this unit is installed in a 24/7 occupied space, we recommend manually calibrating the unit every 6 months using “Forced Calibration” as described in the Installation Guide.
Altitude Adjustment: Embedded pressure sensor performs Automatic Altitude Adjustment
Drift Over Lifetime: ASC Field calibration activated and in environment allowing for ASC or field calibration: +/-50 ppm
Sensor Lifetime: 15 years
Communications: IEEE 802.11b, g, n in local environment UDP transmission and reception to other XCSpec Devices. Secure HTTPS communications to Cloud (optional)

AQ Outdoor supports UDP Transmission to an unlimited number of AQ Indoor devices to derive ZONE based Pressure measurements.
